The Edgar County Community Foundation continues to expand its horizons for the people of the county, As the Foundation develops its communication, collaboration, and knowledge base with the National Council of Foundations, The Alliance of Illinois Foundations, The Lumpkin Foundation, and the Donors Forum of Chicago, opportunity and benefits for Edgar County citizens continue to grow.
First Farmers Bank of Paris supports one of the new room donations for the Paris Cooperative High School. Representing the bank are from L-R; Cara Kraemer, Dan Moffett, Lydia Laughlin, Trisha Vitale, Edgar County Community Foundation director, Jamie Sturgell, Kellie Eastham, vice president and regional branch manager for the bank, Myra Leeman, Warren Sperry Foundation development manager, Janine Brann, and Sabrina Funkhouser. The Foundation appreciates the support of the community and opportunities remain as the new school nears completion.
PCHS RECEIVES SCOREBOARDS
State of the art electronic scoreboards will be installed at the basketball, football, softball and baseball field at the new Paris Cooperative High School thanks to the support of Dimond Bros. Insurance and the Bartos family trust for continued support of the new educational facility. Making the presentation to Dave Meister, front center, is Don Bartos, CEO of Dimond Bros. joined by Warren Sperry, left, Edgar County Community Foundation development manager ; and back row, Nathan Stevens, Brad Redmon, Mark Donaldson of Dimond Bros., Ned Jenison, Foundation director; and Chad Hall of Dimond Bros. The new scoreboards are a significant upgrade from those initially planned for the new school complex.
The Paris Business Women's Club presents a room donation for the new Paris Cooperative High School through the Edgar County Community Foundation.
